The fourth Ted Hughes Poetry Festival takes place over the weekend of 7 – 9 September 2018. We’ve devised an unique and varied programme of events in and around Mexborough, South Yorkshire, including readings and performances from acclaimed poets Moor Mother, Mike Garry and Kate Fox. Friday 7 September
6.15pm – 9.30pm: Opening Night with Moor Mother, Hive South Yorkshire young writers showcase
Saturday 8 September
10.30am – 1.30pm: Young writers workshop and performance with Moor Mother
10.30am – 1.30pm: Matthew Clegg talk and workshop on Derek Walcott
2pm – 4pm: Workshop with Mike Garry
4.30pm – 5.30pm: Steve Ely: ‘Ted Hughes: 20 Years On’
6.30pm – 9.30pm: Closing Night with The Mixtape Tour with Nick Makoha and Roger Robinson, Pete Green, Mike Garry and Kate Fox
