RSPB Old Moor
Old Moor Lane, Bolton upon Dearne, S73 0YF
Saturday 20 May 2017
10.30am – 1.30pm

A morning of birding and poetry with poet (‘Waterloo Teeth’, ‘Frieze’), Professor of Romantic Literature (Leeds University), Editor of ‘Stand’ magazine and avid birder John Whale at RSPB Old Moor.
Starting at 10.30 with a quick orientation, participants will then go birding on the reserve for an hour before returning to base for a workshop. Tickets: £5. To reserve your place, please book through our TicketTailor event page.

Meet at main reception at RSPB Old Moor (for those arriving early, the cafe will be open). We’re in the Lapwing room in the adjacent converted farm building.  Tea and coffee will be available.

We suggest that you bring waterproofs (to be on the safe side). The walks are on proper paths that may be slightly muddy, in places, but no need for hiking boots. Bring binoculars if you have them, and, of course, a notebook and pen.
